Wedding Officiant
Melody has been
an ordained minister
since 1997 by Alliance of
Divine Love, based in West Palm Beach, Florida.
She
felt that being an ordained minister would
give her a more spiritual foundation to build upon with her other gifts/tools.
It has been very
rewarding
to write, but also to perform
the
wedding ceremonies that she has had the
opportunity to do.
These
ceremonies are specifically
designed to fit each couple's
needs and beliefs, along with that special time of day, one
ceremony at
a time. She incorporates the "words", and
sayings that are meaningful for them as a couple.
After all, it is
all about them and what they are about to pledge to one another, going forward from there, together!
Sometimes, the ceremony needs to be on a beach, or in a backyard,
or along
side a mountain, and yes, even in a chapel! Also, it is sometimes
requested to be at an auspicious time of day. This may not be a
normal time to
have a wedding, but to bring about the most harmonious marriage ever
by
working with and respecting the energies at work at that specific time
of day, she does it!
Whatever feels right
for the
couple in front of her at the time,
she does
her part in making their wish for their
special
day a reality for them.
After all, when they get to
have a part
in what they say to one another on their special day,
it makes
it so much more personal, as well as meaningful and memorable
for
them.
It brings Melody great joy to do this for
couples
as they start a life of
sharing
themselves with each other.
